Plans for StorageLink, a proposed storage-facility in Sartell, were given approval by the Sartell City Council at its Feb. 14 meeting.
The business would be built on Lot 1 of a 10.6-acre parcel of property near the intersection of CR 4 and 19th Ave. S. in west Sartell. That area was formerly known as Lodermeier Gardens and Greenhouse. That business shut down about 10 years ago.
The area was formerly zoned as single-family residential, but later it was redesignated as light industrial/office district.
The applicant for the project is Bruce Stainbrook of Sartell.
The StorageLink project will be required to install two fire hydrants, stormwater drainage, traffic-control signs. The developer will also pay the city for trunk stormwater hook-up, water fees and a contribution for the city’s park funds. The developer must also acquire a construction permit from the Minnesota Pollution Control Agency.
