When asked how teachers have helped me succeed, it’s easy to come up with endless ways of impact. Every single teacher I’ve had has helped me to become a better student and, even more importantly, a better person.
I’m currently a junior in high school, and my success is mainly due to the efforts of my teachers. Not only do they provide an essential education to me and many other students, but they make it enjoyable as well! Creating new curriculum, allowing us to be ourselves and continuously wanting us to be better are only a few ways in which they have helped students.
Teachers put in hours of hard work to help make our fun lessons possible. Some particular teachers stay at the school until late at night to ensure everything their students need done is completed.
It is impossible for me to express the gratitude I have toward every teacher I’ve had and every teacher I will have in the future. They provide a way for us to learn, not only about the required curriculum, but also about ourselves. In order for these teachers to make such an impact, what they teach should not be micromanaged. They should have the liberties to teach students in the ways they see fit because they know their students. They know how to help them succeed. In all my classes at Sartell (which is a lot!).
I’ve never had an issue with the curriculum or how the teachers have taught it. Their teaching styles have helped me to become the successful student I am. I also appreciate how teachers use books and curriculum that make all students feel comfortable and allow them to be themselves. Going to school, in my opinion, is truly enjoyable due to all the hard work our teachers do for us. Thank you, educators!
