A St. Joseph man was injured Aug. 8 when the pickup he was driving left CR 4 and crashed into a tree, according to the Stearns County Sheriff’s Office.

Alexander Legatt, 21, was driving west about 5:22 p.m. on CR 4 near Quail Road in St. Wendel Township when the truck left the road, drove over a field approach and hit a tree. Legatt told deputies that he may have fallen asleep.

He was taken to St. Cloud Hospital for injuries that were not life-threatening, according to the sheriff’s office.
