The Benton Drive Mini-Serv was robbed by an armed gunman last Friday night, and police are seeking clues to solve the crime.
According to the police report, a man entered the convenience store-gas station at 8 a.m. Oct. 12 and revealed a black handgun to an employee. The man then took money and fled the store on foot. The amount of money the man took is not yet known.
The robber was described as between 30-35 years old, 5 feet 6 inches in height with a medium build. He was also described as having a dark complexion with scruffy facial hair. He was wearing a blue hooded jacket, dark jeans and black tennis shoes.
Benton Drive Mini-Serv is located at 600 1st Ave. NE just across from the Verso paper plant in east Sartell.
