Dahl vies for St. Stephen mayor position

There is only one local challenger who will be on the ballot in the Nov. 6 general election in St. Stephen.
That challenger is James J. Dahl, who is competing against the incumbent mayor, Cynthia VanderWeyst.
Voters will decide two positions for the Sartell City Council, and in both positions the incumbents – Jeff D. Blenkush and Thomas Vouk – are running unopposed. Voters do have the option of a write-in entry under any of the ballot choices.
The Nov. 6 election will take place at St. Stephen City Hall, located at 2 Sixth Avenue SE. The polling place will open at 5 a.m. and close at 8 p.m.
