Hands Across the World is a nonprofit organization that provides classroom instruction in ESL and other skills to refugee and immigrant newcomers to St. Cloud. Five to 10 volunteers are needed to help children and parents with homework and computer skills during our after-school program hours. The after-school program is a fun and enriching opportunity to work with people from many diverse cultures and backgrounds. Classes are 3-6 p.m. on Tuesdays and Thursdays at the Mary Center. Volunteers are asked to assist at least one day a week.
