All year round someone finds themselves in need of help with groceries. Help the Salvation Army to provide this service to those in need. Volunteers will fill grocery bags with food for clients who come to the agency for food. As donated food comes in, volunteers will also stock the shelves and put away items in the cooler/freezer. They are looking for volunteers to help out on Tuesday and Wednesdays, from 1 to 4 p.m. Volunteers must be 18 years old or older and have the desire to help those in need without being judgmental. Volunteers need to be friendly and able to work alone or with another person, able to lift up to 40 pounds and work in the elements of the cooler and freezer to fill orders and stock shelves.
