As schools become ever higher-tech, some parents might be a bit befuddled when it’s time to make a list of school supplies for their children.
Years ago, a school-supplies list was fairly simple: spiral notebooks, pens, pencils, crayons, a ruler, glue sticks, maybe a backpack.
Now, along with those old-time basics, school lists (depending on the grade level) include headphones or earbuds, hand sanitizer, a deck of playing cards, flash drives and memory sticks.
If parents want to know a complete list of recommended school supplies, they should visit the Sartell-St. Stephen School District website and then click on where it says “School Supplies.” A list is given for each school and each grade.
The website is www.sartell.k12.mn.us.
