V.P. Harris is just a phony

The Newsleaders opinion page seems to be on a mission to convert our majority Republican voting community into Democrat voters. Newsleaders columnist Janagan Ramanathan, do you really think Donald Trump was referring to race when he mentions V.P. Harris’ evolving racial identity? Not at all. Trump is simply pointing out that V.P. Harris is a phony.

Till a few weeks ago Charlottesville hoaxer Joe Biden and tipsy V.P. Harris kept telling us to believe them that everything is rosy economy wise, foreign policy wise, border wise. More phoniness. So Trump is a simpleton, stupid and incompetent, Mr. Ramanathan? Are you unaware Trump already had a successful presidency? That he out-debated a dozen seasoned politicians in 2016 on his first try? That he has 20,000 employees? Can Trump end the Ukrainian war? Maybe. Biden and Harris don’t even try. Can Trump reform the F.B.I., D.O.J. and E.P.A.? I don’t know but somebody needs to.

Gov. Walz turns out to be farther Left than we knew. Letting people burn down your city for three days does not inspire leadership confidence, and that might explain why so many Minnesotan’s have left our state in the past four years. The Harris-Walz candidacy seems to be running on two themes – forget the past 3.5 years and elect us because we are not them. That might fit on a couple of buttons, but it won’t win an election.
