Florence Sheesley, St. Joseph
This election will determine if the United States will live or die. We are at a moral crossroads. We can continue to go down the same path with bigger government, more spending and regulation, increasing taxes, reducing the size of our military, uncontrolled borders, increasing crime and terrorism, abortions being available on demand and appointing liberal judges with a leftist, secular, radical agenda.
OR we can get some common sense and appreciate how our country was formed with much wisdom from our founders. We need our right to bear arms and our right to freedom of conscience and religion. We need a strong military, lower taxes, child-care tax benefits, affordable health-care coverage, an end to Planned Parenthood slaughter and deregulate businesses to create more jobs. The next president will choose Supreme Court justices who will have an impact on our country for many generations to come. We need conservative judges who believe in our Constitution. Career politicians have been in Washington too long; they have forgotten who they work for.
