I am writing in support of Matt Moehrle, an incumbent running for a seat on the Sartell-St. Stephen School Board. I have known Matt for more than 20 years, both as a friend and colleague. Matt is one of the brightest lawyers I’ve ever worked with. He is diligent, conscientious and honest.
As a long-time Conservative, I often have divergent opinions with teachers’ unions. In this case, however, I believe they got it right when they endorsed Matt. Irrespective of politics, Matt cares about children and the quality of their education. He is passionate about his work on the school board and the district would be lucky to have him, again.
