Publisher’s note: There is a reason the top of the Opinion page says “opinion.” Our writers are allowed to state their opinions in this area only. Dalman is a trained reporter who has been reporting for more than 40 years and has been recognized by his peers throughout those years with numerous awards. The Newsleaders is honored to have him writing for our publications.

Mr. Dalman a “reporter” you are not! You ended your column showing disrespect for Supreme Court justices branding them as flunkies and traitors to Democracy. This is “reporting?” I think not. Their 6-3 decision on presidential immunity will not create kings, despots or dictators. Using derogatory language to influence others only shows your ignorance.
You also mischaracterized “Project 2025” and belittled it by using the acronym “LOL.” Project 2025 was created by (more than) 300 contributors, an advisory board of 50-plus and numerous authors. These are all highly educated, successful individuals – CEOs, foundation directors, professors and more. The purpose of this Project was to bring some common sense back into politics and create a road map to follow.
We may not like former president Donald J. Trump but trying to portray him as a “King” that will trash parts of the Constitution and seek retribution against those who “tried” to hold him accountable. Accountable for what? Do we want the other party to follow in the footsteps of the current one and tie up our government from doing what it’s supposed to do?
Instead of spewing out venom and one-sided commentary you should start “reporting.” We the people need information not opinions. This information is easily accessed through the internet on our government websites.
