An 18-year-old female from Douglas County has been missing since Oct. 14.
According to the Douglas County Sheriff’s Office’s Facebook page, the missing female, Laura Schwendemann, was last seen at the Holiday gas station on 50th Avenue in Alexandria at approximately 9:29 p.m. on Oct. 14. Investigators do not believe Scwendemann left voluntarily. Investigators do not believe there is an ongoing risk to public safety. Police are asking the public to report sightings of a 1997 black Geo Prism with a loud exhaust which occured only between Wednesday, Oct. 14 at 9:30 p.m. and Thursday, Oct. 15 at 10:30 a.m.
