Lions clean-up slated for April 22
The annual Sartell Lions Spring Clean-Up will be held from 8 a.m. to noon Saturday, April 22 at the Riverview Intermediate School parking lot, 627 Third Ave. N., Sartell. Pickups available by appointment; call Cody at 320-828-6620 for more details. No paints, solvents, oils or chemicals. No gas-operated refrigerators, bare/broken tube TVs or monitors.
Medallion Hunt starts May 16
The Sartell Historical Society and the Sartell Senior Connection are sponsoring a Medallion Hunt with prizes. The winner will receive a Sony Play Station and a 15-inch Lenova laptop computer. Clues may be picked up at Sartell City Hall, Sartell Community Center and Knotty Paws on the east side. Clues will be available on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Fridays after 10 a.m. starting with the first clue of nine on Tuesday, May 16. The medallion is a wooden token with the Summerfest logo. When found, take the medallion to the community center.
Make-a-Wish fundraiser to be April 22 at SHS
Funfest, a community event and fundraiser for the Make-A-Wish Foundation, will be held Saturday, April 22 in Sartell High School, 3101 Pinecone Road N. There will be a silent auction with 50+ baskets donated from community businesses and a variety of 25¢ games for children including bounce houses, face painting, skee-ball and more.
Bike Safety event set for May 13
The third annual Bike Safety event, sponsored by the St. Joseph Women of Today, will be held from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. Saturday, May 13 at Klinefelter Park, St. Joseph. The first 100 kids receive a free bike helmet. There will be food for sale by the St. Joseph Lions Club, activities and safety information and a drawing to win a bike.

Walk MS St Cloud!
Each year, thousands of peo- ple across the country join the Walk MS volunteer team. From planning event details and call- ing past participants to provid- ing safety and support for par- ticipants at the event, volunteers make Walk MS happen. Volun- tees make Walk MS possible! Make a difference in the lives of youth
Feel the satisfaction of giv- ing back as a Pathways 4 Youth volunteer! By sharing your time and talents, you can inspire hope, change lives and build commu- nity. Pathways 4 Youth is a re- source center for youth ages 16- 24 who are experiencing or at risk of homelessness. The center provides them with a safe place to receive services such as case management, food pantry, cloth- ing closet, hygiene items, shower, laundry facility and hot, fresh meals. They have several opportu- nities to volunteer which include running the front desk, provid- ing mentorship, attending events, preparing meals, maintaining the donation room and more.
