The Stearns County Board of Commissioners recently filled the top position in the county’s highway department, appointing Jodi Teich to serve as the county’s engineer.
Teich has worked for the Stearns County Highway Department since 1999, when she was hired as the assistant county engineer, a position she’s held until now.
Prior to her work at Stearns County, Teich served as the assistant county engineer in Pine County for four-and-a-half years. She holds a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering.
As of April 11, Teich assumed her position as county engineer.
“I am so excited for the opportunity and I appreciate your confidence in me,” Teich told the Board.
Teich replaces Mitch Anderson, who retired from Stearns County in early January.
