April 10 Sartell police blotter

April 3

9:25 a.m. Traffic stop. Fourth Avenue S. An officer saw a vehicle with an expired registration tab. The officer confirmed the tabs were expired and stopped the vehicle. The driver could not provide proof of insurance either. The officer issued citations for both infractions.

April 4

1:40 a.m. Traffic stop. Hwy. 15. An officer stopped a vehicle with expired registration. The driver of the vehicle told the officer that he had a revoked license and a warrant for his arrest. The officer confirmed and placed the individual under arrest. Upon further investigation, it was found that the vehicle was stolen and had marijuana in the vehicle. The driver was transported to Stearns County Jail.

April 5

10:35 a.m. Assist agency. Second Street N. Probation asked for Sartell police to assist in taking an individual into custody. Officers arrived at the individual’s property and the individual answered the door. The individual was taken into custody without incident and transported to Stearns County Jail.

April 6

Midnight. Traffic stop. 13th Avenue N. An officer conducting a license plate check found an individual with multiple arrest warrants. The officer conducted the stop and took the individual into custody. The individual had a syringe with methamphetamine in their possession. The individual was transported to Stearns County Jail.

April 7

2:45 a.m. Suspicious vehicle. Riverside Avenue. The Reserve unit notified officers of a suspicious vehicle parked at a business. An officer arrived and witnessed an individual in the process of drug activity. The individual was found to be in possession of drug and drug paraphernalia. The individual was arrested and transported to Stearns County Jail.

April 8

9 a.m. Traffic stop. Riverside Avenue S. An officer witnessed a vehicle travelling at a high rate of speed through a residential area. The officer stopped the individual and issued a citation for speeding.

April 9

8:50 a.m. Medical. CR 120. Citizens notified police of an individual who needed medical help at a park. Officers arrived and rendered medical aid to the individual until EMS arrived. The individual was taken to the hospital and officers brought his spouse to the hospital to be with the patient.
