CR 75 traffic light to be shut down

The road work on CR 75 in St. Joseph will continue starting at 7 a.m. Monday, Oct. 1, when the traffic signal at CR 134 will shut down, according to the Stearns County Highway Department.

The traffic on CR 75 will have the right of way and there will be stop signs for CR 134 traffic.

No left turns will be permitted from any direction at the intersection, as the median will be closed during the signal shut down.

This work is expected to take the entire day, and the signal will be put back into operation as soon as the modifications at the signal are complete. The shutdown is necessary for traffic signal modifications necessary for the CR 75 resurfacing project.

A similar shutdown with median closure will take place on Tuesday, Oct. 2, and Wednesday, Oct. 3, at CR134/20th Avenue and on Thursday, Oct. 4, at CR 133/12th Avenue in St. Joseph.

Dates and time frames are weather dependent.
