Sept. 25 Sartell police blotter

Sept. 18

10:20 p.m. Traffic stop. Hwy.15. An officer stopped a vehicle for an equipment violation. An individual in the vehicle was in violation of a domestic abuse no contact order from the court and another individual gave the officer a false name. The individual in violation of the court order was arrested and the individual who gave the false name was cited for the infraction. The driver was warned for the equipment violation.

Sept. 19

4:50 p.m. Pursuit. CR 1. An officer pursued a vehicle while attempting to stop the vehicle for its headlights being out. The vehicle crashed and the driver fled on foot from the area. The vehicle was reported as stolen. The driver was located and taken into custody. The driver was arrested and cited for fleeing, reckless driving, possession of stolen property and giving a false name to officers.

Sept. 20

8:55 a.m. Shoplifting. CR 120. An officer, working with loss prevention from a business, stopped an individual. After an investigation, the individual, the loss prevention person and the officer returned to the store where the individual was trespassed from the property.

Sept. 21

1:10 p.m. Traffic Stop. Le Sauk Drive. An officer stopped a vehicle for an equipment violation and the rear hatch being partially open. There was an arrest warrant for the driver. The individual was transported to Stearns County Jail.

Sept. 22

3:20 a.m. Intoxicated person. First Street NE.  A reported an intoxicated person who appeared lost. The officer located the individual and talked with them. It was determined the safest thing for that individual was for them to go to the hospital for the evening. Mayo arrived and transported the individual.

Sept. 23

1:35 a.m. Disorderly conduct. Hi Vue Drive. Officers were dispatched to a residence where an intoxicated individual was causing problems for family members and neighbors. After repeated warnings the individual was arrested for disorderly conduct and transported to Stearns County Jail.

Sept. 24

8:15 a.m. Driving complaint. 2½ Street N. An officer was dispatched to a call regarding a vehicle driving erratically. Officers spoke with the driver after it arrived at Sartell High School. The driver was warned about the driving conduct.
