5:25 p.m. Neighbor dispute. 19th Avenue N. Officers were called to a neighbor dispute. The caller stated their neighbor keeps yelling profanity at them when they are outside because of their political sign. Officers spoke with the neighbor who stated they have PTSD, and the sign triggered them. Officers stated that if it continues it can be a form of harassment which they could be charged for. The neighbor understood and said they would refrain from yelling insults at the neighbors.

7:10 p.m. Traffic stop. First Avenue N./Seventh Street N. Officers were on routine patrol, when they saw a vehicle traveling faster than the posted speed limit. The officer made a traffic stop and spoke with the driver, who was unaware of their speed. The driver was given a citation.
Oct. 25
6:05 p.m. Theft. Second Street N. Officers were dispatched to a theft-from-vehicle complaint. The caller stated they were parked in the parking lot and did not have their vehicle locked. When they returned, they noticed their purse and a cash box were missing from the car. The cash box was empty, however the purse contained cash, driver’s license and credit cards. No suspects currently.
Oct. 29
12:36 p.m. Crash. CR 120/Pinecone Road S. Officers were called to a two-vehicle crash. The driver of the first vehicle stated they were heading north on Pinecone Road, approaching the intersection and had a green light. When they continued through the intersection they were struck by another vehicle. The driver of the second vehicle believed they had a blinking yellow arrow, allowing them to make the turn. Officers explained to the driver that the other vehicle had the right of way. No one was hurt, however the driver of the second vehicle was cited for failing to yield the right of way.

7:22 p.m. Juvenile problem. 13th Avenue N./Fourth Street N. Officers were called for a juvenile problem. The caller stated four juveniles were taking buckets of candy, dumping them in the woods, and messing with kids. Officers arrived and located the juveniles who were believed to be involved, but after speaking to them, learned they were not the ones they were looking for and cleared.
Nov. 3
10:27 p.m. Civil matter. Eighth Avenue N. Officers were dispatched to a civil issue. The complainant stated their partner had taken money from the house, that had been originally taken out to cover half the mortgage. The complainant explained that according to the divorce decree they were not responsible for the mortgage and demanded their money back. Officers advised this was a civil issue and should talk to a lawyer.
Nov. 12
6:18 p.m. Dumpster fire. Riverside Avenue. Officers were called to a report of a dumpster on fire. Officers and Sartell Fire arrived and found a garbage can at the end of the driveway on fire. The fire was extinguished quickly.
Nov. 14
1:32 p.m. Property damage. Eighth Street NE. Officers were dispatched to a property damage, hit and run. The caller stated a school van hit a cluster of mailboxes. The officer contacted the bus company who stated it was a different transportation company. Officers spoke with that company who was aware of the situation and were working on getting the mailboxes replaced.
Nov. 16
12:55 p.m. Juvenile problem. Pinecone Central Park. Officers were dispatched to check on a group of kids who were jumping off buildings at Pinecone Central Park. Officers located all three juveniles and spoke with them, advising them to keep their feet on the ground. The kids left shortly afterward.
Nov. 18
1:36 p.m. Harassment. Nuthatch Avenue. The caller stated she received a suspicious message on her phone. The message stated they were a principal at her son’s school and that her son was caught shooting up heroin in the bathroom. The caller stated when they called the number back, a school-age boy was pretending to be the principal, suspecting it to be a scam. Officers contacted school resource officers, who confirmed no such incident had occurred. The caller suspected it was the same kids who egged their house on the previous week. No suspects currently.
Nov. 20
7:54 a.m. Vehicle in the ditch. Highway 15/CR 120. Officers were dispatched to a vehicle in the ditch as State Patrol was tied up on other calls. Officers spoke with the driver who did not need medical attention. The driver stated he struck the concrete bridge barrier which caused his vehicle to spin out and roll down into the ditch. The vehicle was towed from the scene. The roads were snow and ice covered during this call.
Nov. 23
7:11 p.m. Suspicious incident. Scott Drive. Officers responded to a suspicious-person activity complaint. The caller stated someone just knocked aggressively on their front door. Officers walked around the house and didn’t find anyone. While on scene, officers were notified of another report of someone knocking on doors a few blocks away. No one located in that incident as well.
Nov. 24
10 p.m. Parking complaint. 21 CR 120. Officers were driving through the parking lot when they observed a vehicle parked illegally in a fire zone. Officers spoke with the driver and gave them a verbal warning. The driver then cleared the scene.
