Sartell Winter Market set March 3, April 7
Welcome spring with great items for the grill. The Sartell Farmers’ Market will be held from 10 a.m.-1 p.m. Saturday, March 3 and April 7 inside Sartell City Hall, 125 Pinecone Road. Applications for S-STEM scholarship due April 1
St. Cloud State University and St. Cloud Technical & Community College are accepting applications for the National Science Foundation S-STEM scholarship for incoming Pell-Eligible students interested in studying in science, technology, engineering or technology fields. Students who are planning to attend these schools can apply for the ACCESS S- STEM scholarship of up to $9,000 per year. Earth Day Run seeks volunteers
The CentraCare Earth Day Run, April 20-21, consists of a 5k, 1k, 1/2 marathon race, and a health and fitness expo. Volunteers will be needed Thursday, April 19, through Saturday, April 21. Volunteer with animals
With more than 100 animals in their care at any given time, the Tri-County Humane Society needs volunteers. Opportunities range from working hands-on with animals to fostering them in the comfort of your own home. Medical Alert seeks service representatives
Volunteers represent the Medical Alert Service department by assisting with installing equipment in a subscriber’s home along with occasional assistance with service calls and troubleshooting subscriber issues. Volunteers must be comfortable entering subscriber homes and walking through the installation process with individuals/families. Training and mileage reimbursement are provided. Volunteers are needed in St. Cloud, Sauk Centre, Monticello, Melrose and surrounding communities. Volunteers are asked to make a two- to three-hour commitment per day for one to two days per week. Because of the varying nature of scheduling installs, there may be rare times where a volunteer is not needed for their shift. Scheduling can be flexible. Weekend cooks sought for Anne Marie’s shelter
Anna Marie’s Alliance is looking for groups of two to four volunteers to cook lunch and/or dinner on Saturdays and/or Sundays at the shelter. They provide the food; you and a friend, relative or co-worker can come in to prepare a meal for the residents. You can also bring in food to cook. After the meal is served, you may choose to dine with the residents. This can be a one-time event or something you repeat. Join us for fun and fellowship, making a difference in the lives of women and children experiencing domestic violence. Ages 13-17 are eligible to participate with adult supervision. WACOSA seeks wellness assistant
Assist the staff members in teaching and supporting WACOSA’s clients during creative and stimulating workouts of varying ability levels. These include activities and classes such as aerobics, yoga, walking, meditation, making smoothies and healthy choices while eating. The Central Minnesota Readers for the Blind and Print Disabled is looking for volunteers to read on the radio.
