Farmers’ Market outdoors begins Monday, May 8
Sartell Farmers’ Market will open for the outdoor season at 3 p.m. Monday, May 8 in the parking lot of Bernick’s Arena along Pinecone Road. Many great items will be available including the following: meat, eggs, mushrooms, microgreens, asparagus, lettuce, caramel corn, baked goods, canned goods, roasted almonds and much more. The vendors look forward to serving you during another great season in Sartell.
Lemonade, Laughter is May 16 at Sartell Community Center
Sartell Senior Connection is once again sponsoring its Lemonade and Laughter event at 2 p.m. Tuesday, May 16 at the Sartell Community Center, 850 19th St. S. The event, featuring the musical talent of Ted Manderfeld, is free to senior connection members; there is a nominal fee at the door for non-members.
Bike Safety event set for May 13
The third annual Bike Safety event, sponsored by the St. Joseph Women of Today, will be held from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. Saturday, May 13 at Klinefelter Park, St. Joseph. The first 100 kids receive a free bike helmet. There will be food for sale by the St. Joseph Lions Club, activities and safety information and a drawing to win a bike.
Medallion Hunt starts May 16
The Sartell Historical Society and the Sartell Senior Connection are sponsoring a Medallion Hunt with prizes. The winner will receive a Sony Play Station and a 15-inch Lenova laptop computer. Clues may be picked up at Sartell City Hall, Sartell Community Center and Knotty Paws on the east side. Clues will be available on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Fridays after 10 a.m. starting with the first clue of nine on Tuesday, May 16. The medallion is a wooden token with the Summerfest logo. When found, take the medallion to the community center.
Movie in the Park set May 20 at Millstream
“Puss in Boots: the Last Wish,” sponsored by St. Joseph Park and Recreation, will be shown as the May movie in the park at 8:30 p.m. Saturday, May 20 at Millstream Park, 725 CR 75 W., St. Joseph. Bring your blankets and chairs to watch. Concessions will be available for purchase or bring your own.

Parents of 2023 grads, please be aware your student should have received an email from the school with a link to an online form to collect bio information to be included in the 2023 Grad Tab publishing in the June 2 edition of the Sartell-St. Stephen Newsleader. Please check in with your student to ensure they turn in the information in a timely manner. Home-schooled students or those attending schools other than Sartell High School are also encouraged to submit their name, parents’ names, school they’re graduating from and future plans to be included separately in the June 2 edition.
