Sartell Middle School eighth-grade students will have the opportunity to support entrepreneurs in less-developed countries thanks to a $500 grant awarded through the Schuler Shoes Teacher Appreciation Contest. In April, eighth-grade students will research women micro entrepreneurs in less-developed countries and give a presentation to their classmates about why their chosen project should receive the money. The nominated loan will be repaid each year, meaning the project will impact students and women entrepreneurs for years to come.
