KCs seminarian breakfast set Sunday, Nov. 7
The Knights of Columbus of St. Joseph will hold a breakfast from 8:30 a.m.-noon Sunday, Nov. 7 in Heritage Hall next to the Church of St. Joseph, 12 W. Minnesota St., St. Joseph. This breakfast is designated for the support of a seminarian. Please come and help us support a seminarian by enjoying an all-you-care-to-eat delicious homemade breakfast of Pep’s pork sausage, St. Joseph Meat Market sausage, Swany White pancakes, hash browns, fruit, scrambled eggs, caramel and cinnamon rolls, and beverages. Police seek help for winter clothing drive
The Sartell Police Department is asking for help in collecting new or gently used winter clothing for K-12th graders. If you have items to donate, please drop them off by Wednesday, Nov. 3 to Sartell City Hall, 125 Pinecone Road N.
St. Francis to host blood drive Nov. 11
A Red Cross blood drive will be held from 1-7 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 11 at St. Francis Xavier, 219 Second St. N., Sartell. The Red Cross has expanded the number of appointments from 86 to 109 based on the church’s past ability to recruit donors.
‘We Are Thankful’ set Nov. 14
The ninth annual “We Are Thankful” communitywide food-packaging event, sponsored by United Way of Central Minnesota and Kids Fighting Hunger, will be held Sunday, Nov. 14 at the River’s Edge Convention Center in St. Cloud. This event will give families, adults and children in our community a chance to help provide needed food to families in Central Minnesota and in countries that are experiencing food insecurity.
