Steams County is planning to reconstruct the intersection of CR 75 and CR 133 in 2024. As part of this project, a second eastbound left-turn lane will be added on CR 75 and a roundabout is proposed at the intersection of CR 133 and Elm Street.
The county will host a public open house from 4:30-6:30 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 2 at the St Joseph Government Center building, 75 Callaway St. E. to present the proposed changes, as well as the traffic control that will be used during the construction process.
The meeting will have an open house format to obtain comments and concerns from individual citizens and property owners. A brief presentation will be made at 5 p.m.
Steams County is partnering with Stonebrooke Engineering Inc. of Burnsville on the project design.
