Whoops! The Y2K Lions “Brat Sale” signs were not stolen, after all.
In the Oct. 5 St. Joseph Newsleader, a story based on an interview with a Y2K Lions member stated six of the signs were stolen from locations throughout the city.
However, recently, the woman who reported them missing to the police and to the newspaper discovered another Y2K Lions member had placed all the signs in her garage, unbeknown to the one who reported the “thefts.”
The woman who contacted police and others told the Newsleader she wants to apologize if her report caused anyone any inconvenience.
