Ten candidates will compete for four seats on the Sartell-St. Stephen School Board in the Nov. 6 general election.
Voters will determine three full four-year terms for which eight people filed. They will also determine the one two-year term position, for which two people have filed. For the latter, voters will choose one of the two names on the ballot. For the three full-year terms, voters will have the option of choosing up to three candidates from among the eight names on the ballot.
Tuesday was the filing deadline.
Those who filed for the two-year term are Michelle Meyer and Gary Schnellert.
Those who filed for the four-year term are Christopher Condon, Krista Laurich Durrwachter, Dan Goetz, Chris Gross, Jason Nies, Pam Raden, Molly Vogt and Keith Yapp.
Readers of the Sartell Newsleader will have a chance to learn more about those candidates when the newspaper publishes questionnaires of each candidate as the election approaches.
