The “government” has no money; it is provided by taxpayers. The “government” uses this money for the benefit of its citizens. Are they doing this? Let’s take a look!
Millions of dollars going to foreign aid to prop up another country’s economy, military equipment, scientific experiments and more. Is this a direct benefit to your family?
Prepaid cash cards, free transportation, medical care, housing, guaranteed income for those non-citizens who crossed into this country illegally. I’m sure we are all benefiting from this.
Massachusetts Institute of Technology does a study on living wages showing the amount of taxes an average family pays yearly. In Stearns County they range from single to married with three children is $6,000 to $15,000. Taxes included are income, sales, gas, property, liquor, use tax, to name a few.
The time has come to close the “taxpayer bank!” Politicians need to realize we are not stupid. We know, as shown above, this money is coming from us. The government’s only other option is to print more, which results in deficit spending.
How can we send a message? Vote “no confidence” or “none of the above” in this year’s election. If they see 30 percent voting this way they just might get the idea.
